After graduating from the two-year program at Meisner, she continued her studies on-camera, with Groundlings, and with an array of other wonderful coaches . She's got one mean funny bone and loves all aspects of the craft, but currently hopes to put her agility to use by stepping into a tough, action type role that revolves around superheroes.
Alikona has also written multiple shorts, including Lost & Found, which has received over 14 awards after only a few months on the festival circuit and was screened at the Chinese Grauman Theater in Hollywood, in 2023. Alikona's also sold three movie scripts for television with her writing partner, which aired both in the U.S. and internationally. (See fun movie posters below!)
One of her biggest dreams is to use her platform to become a global voice for animals to help create awareness and change for those who don't have a voice.
Alikona caught the theater bug in high school but stepped away to pursue dance professionally throughout college and post graduation in L.A. However, after a decade of dancing, she realized there were other ways she wanted to share her voice.
Her former roommate , Jason J. Carter (Entertainment Tonight,) challenged her to take on hosting, and things began to come full circle. Hosting led to interviewing wonderful actors which rekindled her love for theater. Immediately she enrolled into The Sanford Meisner Center for Performing Arts and hasn't stopped acting since.
